We are computer systems engineers based in Spain. Our background is in information technology and systems engineering, not on professional trading floors.
In recent years we have directed that knowledge towards automation, trial and error and the search for robust, profitable automated strategies. Instead of calling ourselves professional traders, we do what we have always done as engineers: design, code and stress test complex systems.
Most of this work happens inside NinjaTrader. We build, break and rebuild strategies, run thousands of simulations and keep only what survives strict validation.
Fed up with hype and empty promises, we committed to tools with traceable data and clear rules. That mindset gave birth to The QuantCortex, where we publish results and explain the reasoning behind each decision.
We still iterate like day one: hypothesis → test → review. If it is not verifiable, it does not ship.
